FAQ FAQ: How Do I Become a Consignor of The Christian Curriculum Connection (TCCC)?

How to Become a Consignor of Home School Books

The Christian Curriculum Connection is a consignment store. Consignors and customers are the two most important parts of our business.

Becoming a consignor is a great way to turn your once loved homeschool books into money for your family (or for MORE books Smile ).

Becoming a consignor with The Christian Curriculum Connection is EASY.

Please read everything on this page prior to contacting us about becoming a consignor.

In order to become one of our consignors, you will need to Contact us to receive the consignor's contract.

You are not required to label or organize the books in any way. We will do that for you. If you desire, you may set a selling price for each item, preferably on a written list accompanying the books. If you do not set the selling price, a price will be set by The Christian Curriculum Connection.

Then, just sit back and wait for your profit! We will mail you an inventory sheet which includes your consignor code, description with price of each book, and the date that the books sold. You will receive 50% of the selling amount of each item sold. Payments can be picked up on the 3rd Friday of March, June, September, and December. You may choose to have payments mailed for a processing fee of $0.50 each payment period.

All items must be in quality condition. We do not consign workbooks with written answers, wicked books, romance novels, cookbooks, etc. All children's literature, textbooks, teacher's manuals, videos, CD’s, and games must be educational in nature. The items must not be torn or “falling apart”.

We do not accept "early teacher's editions" of A Beka Grammar, Spelling, and Math books for consignment. Homeschoolers can no longer purchase workbooks to go with these books, so they just take up space and never sell. We do accept them on consignment if the books are in a full set with the student consumables that have not been used. The "full set stipulation" only applies to early editions. We always gladly accept donated early editions from any Christian Publisher.

The Christian Curriculum Connection's Respect for the Intellectual Property of Others.

The nature of a consignment store is such that we store and sell the property of others. Futhermore, every item that is placed on consignment has been written by someone who wants to protect his or her intellectual property. This is denoted by the presence of a "copyright" mark (©) on the item. We respect the work behind every item that we sell for two reasons:

    1. We believe that it is pleasing to the Lord not to copy that which is copyright protected.
    2. If we had written the material, we would not want others to copy our material. (Love thy neighbor as thyself.)

Given this position, we do not want to become party to items that have been utilized in this manner. We will gladly sell any item you want to purchase. However, please do not purchase items for the purpose of making copies and then turning around and consigning them with us. Copyright infringement is a serious and illegal offense, one that may be subject to criminal prosecution.

The Christian Curriculum Connection keeps records of all items bought and sold. If, in our sold discretion, we suspect that buyer/consignor is turning around material for this reason, we reserve the right to do the following:

    1. Refuse to issue a refund for any previously purchased item.
    2. Resell any material that was previously purchased.
    3. Make null and void the consignor's agreement and keep all monies that would have been paid during the next pay cycle.
